  Time cannot steal the treasures you carry in your hearts, though death comes at all seasons and ages without warning, but floats unseen in the breeze.~~I believe Angels are all around us, and any heart that yearns to can reach out and touch a wing.

  When you look into the sky and see a shining star,

think of me and send a kiss, I'm never very far.

When you see the moonlight dancing on the sea, and feel a kiss brush on your cheek, that's a kiss from me. When the sun is bright on the fields and there's flowers everwhere, if you look a little closer,

you'll see me there. When the snow is falling hard and sparkling on the ground, feel the flakes on your face, and know that I am around. When you see a glistening raindrop or the grass covered in dew, don't let your heart feel heavy, just remember

" I LOVE YOU.' Sending you all my love David.

  Safely Home.....I am Home in Heaven dear ones;

Oh, so happy and bright ! There is perfect joy and beauty in HIS everlasting light.~~All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed. I am now at peace forever, safely Home in Heaven at last.~~Did you wonder why I so calmly trod the Valley of Shade ? Oh, but JESUS' love illuminated every dark and fearful glade.~~And HE come HIMSELF to meet me on that way so hard to tread;

and with JESUS' arm to lean on, I could not have any doubt or dread.~~Then you must grieve not so sorely, for I love you dearly still; try to look beyond the Earth's shadows, pray to trust our FATHER'S will.~~There is still work waiting for you. so you must not idly stand. Do it now while life remains, you shall rest in JESUS' Land.~~When that work is all completed, HE will gently call you home; Oh, the rapture of the meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come.~~Love Dave.

  It has always been the Soldier.....It is the Soldier, not the President, who gives us Democracry.---It is the Soldier, Not Congress, who takes care of us.------It is the Soldier, Not the Reporter, who has given us Freedom of the Press.----It is the Soldier, Not the Poet, who has given us the Freedom of Speech.-----It is the Soldier, not the Campus Organizer, who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate.-----It is the Soldier, who Salutes the Flag, who serves Beneath the Flag, and whose coffin is Draped by the Flag, that allows the Protestor to Burn the Flag.----David's Uncommon Valor was a Common Virtue.....Rest in Peace Dear Friend......

  Don't Weep For Me......Please don't weep for me this day, as I gave my all for my beloved

U.S.A., So, that you my dear loved ones and all of America's daughters and sons could contine to enjoy liberty that was also blessed upon me by those before me......who died defending our great Nation's Name.....And now I am among these Heroes all, who answered Bravely the Ultimate Fall.

...So, remember me for being there, standing tall out of loving care for all that we Hold True and Pledge Allegiance To, knowing that I am always with you as I was for Old Glory's, Red, White, and Blue.

  American Soldier.....They ask him why he'shipping off to fight. They fail to see what's on the line, all their freedoms, all their rights.~~Comprehension is beyond their grasps that someone's got to go. And, while every breath may be his last, no fear, no doubt will he ever show.~~Because he knows that if he dies in some far off foreign land, that his valiant efforts may save lives of his countrymen, family and friends.~~And that girl's picture in his pocket, though how he longs to hold her, will forever be carried in the heart of this true American Soldier.

  Empty Boots....Dog tags hang over boots laced up, a bayonet stabs the ground. Kevlar perched on a 16 butt, fellow soldiers gather around.~~Warriors in their battle gear, weapons at their side. Bow their heads as words are said, to honor one who died.~~An American Hero gave his life defending Liberty, the price he paid was gladly done, for country and family.~~Those empty boots do not support a body or soul, no more they'll run for cover or some loved one dear to hold.~~As one by one soldiers pass, this tribute to their own, thoughts fly to their families across the ocean foam.~~Now Salute, as TAPS is played, blink tears out of eyes, the ache you feel inside your heart is Freedom's Painful Price.~~101st Airborne~~

  A Hero.....Standing here looking at this stone, you're someone I've never known......But, I can feel your spirit, your voice I can almost hear it......

Eyes looking back at me are stoic, your expression is so heroic.....Your life your courageously gave, for the home of the brave.....America you proudly defended, and you will always be commended.....

America will always be proud of you, you're the proud, the brave, and the few.....You sacrificed your life for those, who turned their back to oppose.....Freedom will always be worth, the reason you left this earth.....Heroes don't come back from war, over America their spirits soar.....

Thank you Soldier for being brave, sacrificing your life for mine to save....Toby B. Meyer, Louisville, Ky.

  Remember me on quiet days while raindrops whisper on your pain. But in your memories have no grief, let just the joy we knew remain. Remember me when the evening stars look down on you with steadfast eyes, Remember me if once you wake to catch a glimpse of red sunrise.~~And when your thoughts turn to me, know that i would not have you cry. But live for me and laugh for me, when you are happy, so am I.~~Remember an old joke that we shared; think of me when Spring walks by. Think of me when you are glad and while you live, I shall not die.

  Life goes on. ~~If, I should go before the rest of you, break not a flower or inscribe a stone. Or, when I am gone speak in a Sunday voice. But be the usual selves that I have known.~~Weep if you must, parting is Hell. But, life goes on, so sing as well.

  Friendship is a priceless gift, that cannot be bought or sold. But, it's value is far greater than a mountain of gold. So, when you ask GOD for a gift be thankful if He sends not diamonds, pearls, or riches, but the love of real, true friends.~~Dave was a gift from GOD.~~Sleep well my friend.~~

  There's a pain beyond imagining that's burning in your heart for suddenly your whole world has been cruelly ripped apart. The only source of comfort are you memories & the love & they will shine forever like the brightest stars above. But, his loving smile will always be tucked in your hearts with love. David will watch over you from Heaven & help you through the pain. You will always love and miss him until you meet again.~~Hazel Kessler

Jose Ricardo Flores-Mejia

It's been 20 years since your passing... However, I never forgotten the day you told me I am married, I am going to have a baby, and day your son was born... You touched some many lives in different ways in your brief time on this earth in ways others can't imagine... Some people can be given a life time on this earth and accomplish nothing, and there are some people who are given a short time and accomplish so much... You Mr. Flores-Mejia aka Ricky was that person and soldier who accomplish so much in your shoft tme... As I see the days pass by, and the war seems to be a distant memory, your memory is still alive in my life, and still on this and like other days with my grandchildren I sit back like we did many times and listen to those West Coast oldies... "Never Forgotten"

Frank E. Adamski III

To the family of Frank Adamski, including his wife and daughter, my sincere condolences. I plan to make sure he is never forgotten.

She was my 3rd and 5th grade teacher. Today I'm 32 and still think about her. She was the best teacher ever. From her hair children stories to her bubbly happiness and kindness she spread. I'll never forget her. She was the teacher who had lunch with the kids in her classroom so everyone had someone to be with. She made my school experience amazing. I will never forget her.. I love you Mrs. Cobb. Sincerely, Forever in my thoughts, Alyssa (Viau) Capone

Larry E Polley Jr

SPC Polley died almost two decades ago so I don't know if this message will be seen. In honor of Memorial Day, my agency hands out cards with names of those who have fallen. This year, 2023, I received the card for SPC Polley and was inspired to look up more on him. I am thankful for his service and sacrifice. My condolences to his family. He is not forgotten.

Love you and miss you always. Since you been gone it has been hard for everyone. I know you loved what you did, and I want to thank you for our freedom. Money comes and go so it's not worth losing you.

James David Parker

I knew James David Parker as "Dave" when he lived in Solon Ohio. We met when I moved into town from out of state. He and his group of friends were a year or two older than me. Dave was a bright beacon of hope and joy to me. I was an unsure young man in a strange place. Dave introduced me to many people and ensured his friends always saved me a seat in the lunchroom. I have fond memories of him and his friends during that time. I doubt so many people would have been as wonderful toward me without Dave's incredible kindness. I've never forgotten his kindness. I hope to be able to pay it forward someday.
