Prayers & Condolences For: Carl John Bedigian BY Anonymous on Feb 18, 2007
Carl was a beautiful person inside and out. He loved his family deeply and as such they loved him even more in return. He got married on September 30, 2000 and as the night was being danced away he turned to me and said "I wish this night would never end - I am so happy right now". That was the beginning of a match made in heaven between himself and my cousin, Michele. Michele is also an extraordinary person and therefore the two made "quite the match". Well, at least his widow was blessed with being given the 6 or so years that she spent with Carl and in the end she was there as "HIS WIFE AND LOVING PARTNER FOR ETERNITY".

Carl was a caring man with a wonderful sense of humor, and an easy smile. I didn't know him very well, but he was a close friend of my husband's family. Carl always put me at my ease, and made me feel part of the group whenever we were together at family functions. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I am proud to have known him, and will never forget him or what he did for America. JoAnn Maio, friend

I am a friend of Michele Bedigian, Carl's wife. I remember when I first met Carl (at a family gathering) and thinking "what a nice guy." He truly was. Carl had a way of lighting up a room the minute he entered it, just like Michele. I'm sure anyone who knew Carl would say that he also lit up our hearts. This is how I will remember Carl. Although I only met Carl once, his death saddens me more than I ever thought possible. I think it's because he personalizes for me the astounding bravery and complete and utter selflessness of the men and women who risked their lives to save others that tragic day. This man, as illustrated by his actions, not just on September 11th, but the way I have heard he lived every day of his life, represents a higher standard of mankind, a standard that we should all strive to live up to as we go about our daily lives. Carl, and the thousands of others that fateful day, thank you for the selflessness with which you lived your life, thank you for the example that you have set for generations to come and thank you for the inspiration you have given all of us to carry on.
