Prayers & Condolences For: Jennifer J Harris BY Anonymous on Mar 21, 2007
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Harris and Major Aaby,The Bloomsburg (PA) Press-Enterprise today carried the notice of Capt. Jennifer Harris's life and death. Having a 29-year-old, precious daughter, I cry for you all and for Jennifer. There can be almost no imaginable solace for you. Nevertheless, as Abraham Lincoln 142 years ago wrote to Mrs. Lydia Bixby, Boston, on her loss of five sons in the Civil War:"I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom."
