I have never met you, but your story touched me deeply. You are a true hero and I thank you for your selflessness. I also thank your parents for raising such a fine young man. I have 2 teenage boys and I would be so proud if they even had 1/4 of the loyalty and courage that you had.

Job well done MARINE. As a Staff Sergeant of Marines I know that you are an Icon for those young Hard Chargers to immulate. I think of the selfless devotion to duty and the Marines in your units and it makes me scream OOH RAH at the top of my lungs at the same time as I mourn your death I say ooh rah in the softest voice that I could possibly muster. To the family of such a warrior I am proud of you. I am proud that you raised a proud son, one son that excepted his flaws and excelled in what he knew. Your son is a leader. I do not know him personnally but I feel him throughout me and if I was ever to take his place in death I know that it wouldnt have stopped him from continuing his everyday mission. You son is truly a Devildog! He has my respect and also the troops under my control. I will make sure to preach the heroics of your son, so that he is not forgotten.
