Your sacrifice will remain in our hearts for a lifetime,
with intense gratitude. May God bless you and your family.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms.
We cherish too, the Poppy redThat grows on fields where valor led,
It seems to signal to the skiesThat blood of heros never dies.

I never knew you. You were killed with my son-in-law, Sgt. Ben Portell. I know you were a good and brave man, the kind we can't afford to lose. I know you are in heaven now, with Ben and my nephew Tim who was killed on 4/1/06. Take care of each other until we see you again.Terry Moshier

How do you say good bye to someone like you?
You were the light to so many, loved beyond measure, never to be forgotten. You will remain ever young with your beautiful smile that only you had to light up the room where ever you entered. I am sure that is what happened when you were greeted in Heaven, you lit up a new part of the world, where you were needed then. We will see you again. Love forever/
