Incident: Army Pvt. George Delgado died March 24 in Baghdad, Iraq, from wounds sustained when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device on March 23. Also killed were Staff Sgt. Christopher M. Hake, Pfc. Andrew J. Habsieger and Spc. Jose A. Rubio Hernandez.

George was my cousin's cousin, this is very bad news to hear. I hadn't seen him for many years, but he was too young and innocent and hadn't truly experienced life yet for this to happen to him.My condolences go out to his family especially his younger sister and mother.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. He is a true American Hero. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. Our son was stationed at Ft. Stewart also. He was K.I.A. 4-27-07. I still can't believe that george is dead... He wasn't my cousin, but I did know him. George is related to my cousin "Muffin", and from what I remember he was a nice guy, who didn't deserve to die. But he is now in a better place and will always be remembered. My heart goes out to the Delgado Family...
