Frank was a good ol' boy. Our greeting to each other was not, "Good morning." or anything like that, but rather "Frankie, baby!" He would always answer "Joey, baby!" I shed many tears on September 11, and shed many after. I didn't know who survived at first. Then I saw Frank, Jr. on TV desperately looking for his daddy, showing his dad's picture to everyone. I'll never forget your daddy, Frank. He was a man's man. A real gem, priceless! I think of him all the time and will always keep his smile alive in my heart.

I only met Billy once, in Salt Lake City several years ago during the NCAA basketball tournament. I was there to watch my school, the Kentucky Wildcats, as was Billy. We met the first evening and immediately hit it off. What a personable, funny and unassuming guy. He was the kind of person who you felt you had known your whole life in the first half-hour that you talked. We had a lot of fun that evening and Billy refused to let me pay for any of our food/drinks. We had a great time together and he even asked me to visit him in New York during my next visit (my sister lives in Greenwich). I only wish that I had had the chance to visit to get to know him and his family. I know that we would have become good friends. I know that he has a very close family. My wife and I even met his mother and sister in Indianapolis a couple of weeks later. What nice people. I pray for Billy, his wife and his children. I can't imagine the pain, but I know they are strong. The world is a better place because of people like Billy. I hope to see you again Billy, my friend.
Troy, friend
