Stephen Adams
Total Candles 2
Steve was my friend, my roommate for a while in Vermont. We had a blast! What a cool guy! Quiet, goofy, kind... When another friend of mine was murdered by "bandits" in Guatemala, Steve was there for me. Nothing like a good bottle of wine and a gentle soul to help you in times of sorrow. I miss you now, Steve, even though I didn't realize it on September 10. And just because you dance with bells on your feet, and a hankie in your hand, doesn't mean you're a sissy. Bye, pal....
Doug Noyes, friend

James M. Roux
Total Candles 2
Dear Jim, We loved the way that you brightened our day with your calm presence and the patience of a buddah. We miss parking next to you and listening to you blasting Jimi Hendrix from any stereo or amp that you could find. You left a lot friends and family behind, but your boys will always know that you are a hero. I love and miss you.
A.J. Riseman, friend

Stuart Todd Meltzer
Total Candles 2
I knew Stuart Meltzer from my days at Miramax Films. He worked for one of the top two people there and began just when I did. He made me feel comfortable when I had to bring notes down to the big guy's office -- always friendly and always working hard. He is also a personal friend of Rob Pattillo's whom I am also life-long friends with. Stuart was a wonderful man and a wonderful human being. I think of him often, as he is the one person I did know directly who is the most horrific type of victim in this trajedy. My thoughts are with his family and I pray for them.

Justin McCarthy
Total Candles 2
I only met Justin once. It was Friday 9/7/01 and my fiancee and I were planning to meet up with some friends at a bar that night. Our friend, Juice, called because he had a friend with him & he wanted to make sure it was okay to bring him over to our apartment for drinks. That friend was Justin. When I met him I could just tell he was full of energy and life. He saw my pile of wedding magazines on the floor & when he found out I am getting married in September shared information about his own upcoming wedding. All night, he talked about his wonderful fiancee, her child, and how happy he was to marry her. He was high on life. When I heard the devasting news on September 11 my thoughts immediately went to his fiancee. The pain she is facing must be unbearable. I just want her to know that even though I only met Justin once, she was everything to him and all he talked about. I hope that hearing this will let her know how much she really meant to him because in those last few days she was all he talked, and thought, about.
Chrissy, friend

James J. McAlary Jr.
Total Candles 2
Jimmy, I cannot believe that it has been three months already since you were so unfairly taken from us. You are so dearly missed by your wife, your children, mom and dad, and your brothers and sisters, the rest of your family and your many wonderful friends so dearly miss you each and every day. Your wife and kids have been so strong. It is quite clear that they draw their strength from you, as you were always the rock that got us through everything. Please be assured that we are all looking after them. You touched so many lives with your smile and friendship, and you set an example for all of us through your dedication and leadership.
John McAlary, brother

Joey was a big, beautiful man. I went to junior high and high school with him, and I remember skiing with him. Everyone liked Joey. He was smart, funny and kind. Even though I lost contact with him, he will not be forgotten.

Ruth Sheila Lapin
Total Candles 1
Ruth began working in my AT&T organization on Sept. 11, 2000. Ruth was always such a joy to be around, so humerous, so warm and so caring. While decorating my Christmas tree this year, I said a prayer for Ruth as I hung the Christmas ornament that she made for me last year. Ruth was a very kind person, not only did Ruth make an ornament for me but for our entire group. May God Bless Ruth's family and sustain them with His love.

Jose Ricardo Flores-Mejia

It's been 20 years since your passing... However, I never forgotten the day you told me I am married, I am going to have a baby, and day your son was born... You touched some many lives in different ways in your brief time on this earth in ways others can't imagine... Some people can be given a life time on this earth and accomplish nothing, and there are some people who are given a short time and accomplish so much... You Mr. Flores-Mejia aka Ricky was that person and soldier who accomplish so much in your shoft tme... As I see the days pass by, and the war seems to be a distant memory, your memory is still alive in my life, and still on this and like other days with my grandchildren I sit back like we did many times and listen to those West Coast oldies... "Never Forgotten"

Frank E. Adamski III

To the family of Frank Adamski, including his wife and daughter, my sincere condolences. I plan to make sure he is never forgotten.

Laurie Cobb

She was my 3rd and 5th grade teacher. Today I'm 32 and still think about her. She was the best teacher ever. From her hair children stories to her bubbly happiness and kindness she spread. I'll never forget her. She was the teacher who had lunch with the kids in her classroom so everyone had someone to be with. She made my school experience amazing. I will never forget her.. I love you Mrs. Cobb. Sincerely, Forever in my thoughts, Alyssa (Viau) Capone

Larry E Polley Jr

SPC Polley died almost two decades ago so I don't know if this message will be seen. In honor of Memorial Day, my agency hands out cards with names of those who have fallen. This year, 2023, I received the card for SPC Polley and was inspired to look up more on him. I am thankful for his service and sacrifice. My condolences to his family. He is not forgotten.

Paul C. Holter III

Miss you brother

Alex D Gonzalez

Love you and miss you always. Since you been gone it has been hard for everyone. I know you loved what you did, and I want to thank you for our freedom. If I can have you back home and safe living your life man everything would be different. No matter how much money they would offer me I would rather have you alive and home. Money comes and go so it's not worth losing you.

Christopher D Young

hello my name is Jesus Vega I would like to give my condolences to Christopher's family and friends, I served with him in Iraq and slept in the same quarters. I have many fond memories of him. I have never forgotten his sacrifice. I would like to share that the greatest memory I had of Chris is that he would speak highly of his mom and how much she meant to him. Chris was a strong minded person and looked out for other. He was kind and friendly the he made friends with everyone. Chris was truly a great man! I sincerely apologize for not sharing sooner. but would like to express that Chris's memory will never be forgotten! though he is not with us he will always be in spirit! If this message gets to Christopher's mother I she could know she raised a great man and for that I thank you.

James David Parker

I knew James David Parker as "Dave" when he lived in Solon Ohio. We met when I moved into town from out of state. He and his group of friends were a year or two older than me. Dave was a bright beacon of hope and joy to me. I was an unsure young man in a strange place. Dave introduced me to many people and ensured his friends always saved me a seat in the lunchroom. I have fond memories of him and his friends during that time. I doubt so many people would have been as wonderful toward me without Dave's incredible kindness. I've never forgotten his kindness. I hope to be able to pay it forward someday.
