Terror Victims In London Attacks - Prayers - Condolences - Memorials
Our condolences
Like terrorist attacks before, the transit bombings in London represent a blow against all civilized people, all open societies, all who respect life and the rule of law. This is a call for nations of goodwill to unite and redouble efforts to stamp out terrorism. Group of Eight (G-8) leaders rightly responded with pledges of solidarity and cooperation in prosecuting the terrorists responsible.
Our heartfelt condolences go to the British people. The night before they had been celebrating their winning bid for the 2012 Olympics. The next day they mourned dozens dead and some 700 injured -- ordinary people who simply were going about their daily lives. These casualties pain us but must not change the resolve against terrorism.
As British Prime Minister Tony Blair rightly said, ''Whatever they do, it is our determination that they will never succeed in destroying what we hold dear in this country and in other civilized nations throughout the world.'' |

I never knew any of the victims, but I can't get my head around the fact that I'll never get the chance to. Rest in peace my sweethearts. I'm so sorry. I'm thinking of each and every one of you each and everyday. If I had one wish, it would be to end the killings. It's due time we all lived in peace with each other. As for the terrorists, they don't deserve to be given a second thought. Words can't express the anger and disgust I feel for these people, I can't even call them people.
