  Frankie,

Its a few days before Christmas, and it doesn't even feel like it. I have nothing to celebrate this year. I remember how much you loved the holiadays. We didn't put up a tree or anything this year, it just doesn't seem right without you. I can't describe the pain I feel, I just miss you so much baby. I would give anything to have you back. The whole family will remember this Christmas as the saddest. Thank you for your ultimate sacerfice. I hope this nation truly appreciates what a fine young man that was lost due to this senseless war. You may be out of sight, but you will never be gone from my mind or heart. Our souls will always be together, as you used to promise me. Rest in peace my love.

Forever your Babe,

Jamie

  Frankie,

Well Baby what do I say? Everyone tells me with time I will do better, but with time it only gets worse. I can't stand to be here with out you. At least we got to spend those two weeks together while you were home. I will never forget the time and the love we shared. I only regret it wasn't longer. I wish we could have made our vows and started the family we always planned. Well until we are together again, our love will always live strong, and burn bright forever. By the way you have a nephew. He is beatiful, a true Straub. He also carries your name Sean Francis Straub. I only wish you were here to see him. Well Baby rest now when we meet again we'll have alot of catching up to do. I Love You Forever.oxoxo

My family tells me it will pass but Im not sure it will. I love you so much. You know that country song That says " if you get there before i do, dont give up on me, ill meet you when my chores are though, i dont know how long ill be. im not gonna let you down, darling wait and see. between now and then till i see you again ill be loving you...love me" we sang it together a few times on the radio ( when you werent singing frank sanata to me...lol) well just remember that verse, we'll be together again, i promise! I love you baby.

I knew Frank on an personal level as well as a professional level, I worked as well as served with him. As he SRP'ed to mobilize I spent everyday with him, asked, practally begged, to join him overseas I turned him down and now Im not sure I made the right choice. I just found out today Frank had passed and it was one of the hardest things I ever encountered. We talked everyday on the internet and had plans for when he came home, I love him so much and will never forget him. To his family, I dont know if you remember me but please feel free to call if anything is needed. I Love you Frank! (717) 259-6344

Baby, I miss and love you so much! There is such an empty space in my heart where love and happiness used to live. You are my hero, but you already knew that. I thank god that I told you every chance I got. I will never understand or comprehend why you were taken from us so soon.

The world will never truly know what an excellent man they lost. Our memories will burnt bright in my mind and heart forever. I never believed that anything bad could ever happen to us because we were so happy and in love. Rest in peace my love, we will be together soon again. Goodnight my love. Love Always,

Jamie

In this time of tragedy, my prayers are with the entire family, friends and soldiers. I was fortunate to have known frank , i grew up in the neighborhood, and I am in a lost for words to describe the type of person he was, there is no one you could compare him too. He was one of a kind. I thank him, and all our troops for all their unselfish acts of bravery. I will never forget you Frankie.

My thoughts and prayers are with you now in your time of tragedy. I too serve in the U.S. Army and have attended more services then I care to mention. Just remember that your loved one has not been taken without reason. He is with God now. I like to think that all those who have been taken are now serving the dual purpose of not only looking out for their brothers and sisters in arms but all those family members who kept the faith alive on the homefront. I only hope you feel the pride in Frank that I feel. He fought bravely and he will remain forever in the hearts and minds of those he served with. God bless your family and all those who are still serving in this never ending war.

To the family of Army Sgt. Francis J. Straub Jr.,

First I would like to say that you and your family are in my prayers. I came across Mr. Straubs Funeral Announcement in the News Paper and he caught my eye because he looked so young. In case the thought that Mr. Straub died for nothing ever crossed your mind, I would like you to know that he didnt. I am very thankful towards him because he was brave enough to except the challenge of fighting for my freedom and the freedom of all Americans. I know that no word or expression of gratefullness will bring back Army Sgt. Francis Straud Jr., but it may help ease your pain.

My thoughts and Prayers are with you,

Elaina

Jose Ricardo Flores-Mejia

It's been 20 years since your passing... However, I never forgotten the day you told me I am married, I am going to have a baby, and day your son was born... You touched some many lives in different ways in your brief time on this earth in ways others can't imagine... Some people can be given a life time on this earth and accomplish nothing, and there are some people who are given a short time and accomplish so much... You Mr. Flores-Mejia aka Ricky was that person and soldier who accomplish so much in your shoft tme... As I see the days pass by, and the war seems to be a distant memory, your memory is still alive in my life, and still on this and like other days with my grandchildren I sit back like we did many times and listen to those West Coast oldies... "Never Forgotten"

Frank E. Adamski III

To the family of Frank Adamski, including his wife and daughter, my sincere condolences. I plan to make sure he is never forgotten.

She was my 3rd and 5th grade teacher. Today I'm 32 and still think about her. She was the best teacher ever. From her hair children stories to her bubbly happiness and kindness she spread. I'll never forget her. She was the teacher who had lunch with the kids in her classroom so everyone had someone to be with. She made my school experience amazing. I will never forget her.. I love you Mrs. Cobb. Sincerely, Forever in my thoughts, Alyssa (Viau) Capone

Larry E Polley Jr

SPC Polley died almost two decades ago so I don't know if this message will be seen. In honor of Memorial Day, my agency hands out cards with names of those who have fallen. This year, 2023, I received the card for SPC Polley and was inspired to look up more on him. I am thankful for his service and sacrifice. My condolences to his family. He is not forgotten.

Love you and miss you always. Since you been gone it has been hard for everyone. I know you loved what you did, and I want to thank you for our freedom. If I can have you back home and safe living your life man everything would be different. No matter how much money they would offer me I would rather have you alive and home. Money comes and go so it's not worth losing you.

Christopher D Young

hello my name is Jesus Vega I would like to give my condolences to Christopher's family and friends, I served with him in Iraq and slept in the same quarters. I have many fond memories of him. I have never forgotten his sacrifice. I would like to share that the greatest memory I had of Chris is that he would speak highly of his mom and how much she meant to him. Chris was a strong minded person and looked out for other. He was kind and friendly the he made friends with everyone. Chris was truly a great man! I sincerely apologize for not sharing sooner. but would like to express that Chris's memory will never be forgotten! though he is not with us he will always be in spirit! If this message gets to Christopher's mother I she could know she raised a great man and for that I thank you.

James David Parker

I knew James David Parker as "Dave" when he lived in Solon Ohio. We met when I moved into town from out of state. He and his group of friends were a year or two older than me. Dave was a bright beacon of hope and joy to me. I was an unsure young man in a strange place. Dave introduced me to many people and ensured his friends always saved me a seat in the lunchroom. I have fond memories of him and his friends during that time. I doubt so many people would have been as wonderful toward me without Dave's incredible kindness. I've never forgotten his kindness. I hope to be able to pay it forward someday.
