Hey stranger, I know I havent written in awhile but Im in training for the police academy....like we always said we would do together, Im fullfilling a lot of the things we planned to do while we were together, just alone.....i know your helping me through it tho, your my strenght. I want to apologize for missing your phone call when you were home on leave. I know cetain people claim things with you and having your familys clearence that its not true helps me a bit but i know as hot headed as you are your probably turning in your grave. We know the truth and we will be together again soon. I just extended my time in the service and Im going all the way with it, if i happen to be deployed to Iraq and not make it back at least i have the comfort of knowing your there with me, i love you so much.

Frankie,

I just recieved an email from your Aunt Heather and she made me realize that no matter what people say and do they will never have or take away from what we shared. I already knew that but it was a really good reinforcement. I miss you so much. I can't begin to tell you the pain that me or your family feel. There is a void that will never be filled. Aunt Jeanette and I were on the phone for two hours laughing about some of your qualities that we miss so much. Especially the one where you always had to have the last word good or bad. I miss the way you used to bite your lower lip when you were doing something. I also came across a box that I never unpacked from our last apartment. Some of the stuff came in handy now! I'll never understand why you were ripped out of our lives so prematurly. Its a hurt that will never dull or fade. I love you and always will.

	Hey baby just thinking about you. What person in their right mind do you know who writes to someone all the time knowing their never going to write back? It's been 20 years since your passing... However, I never forgotten the day you told me I am married, I am going to have a baby, and day your son was born... You touched some many lives in different ways in your brief time on this earth in ways others can't imagine... Some people can be given a life time on this earth and accomplish nothing, and there are some people who are given a short time and accomplish so much... You Mr. Flores-Mejia aka Ricky was that person and soldier who accomplish so much in your shoft tme... As I see the days pass by, and the war seems to be a distant memory, your memory is still alive in my life, and still on this and like other days with my grandchildren I sit back like we did many times and listen to those West Coast oldies... I have never forgotten his sacrifice. I would like to share that the greatest memory I had of Chris is that he would speak highly of his mom and how much she meant to him. James David Parker

I knew James David Parker as "Dave" when he lived in Solon Ohio. We met when I moved into town from out of state. He and his group of friends were a year or two older than me. Dave was a bright beacon of hope and joy to me. I was an unsure young man in a strange place. Dave introduced me to many people and ensured his friends always saved me a seat in the lunchroom. I have fond memories of him and his friends during that time. I doubt so many people would have been as wonderful toward me without Dave's incredible kindness. I've never forgotten his kindness. I hope to be able to pay it forward someday.
