MINONG, Wis. � A 20-year-old Marine killed in Iraq was a �wonderful kid. He had a real big heart,� his high school counselor recalled March 19.

Lance Cpl. Harry H. Timberman of Minong died March 17 from wounds received while conducting combat operations in Anbar province, the U.S. Defense Department said in a statement.

Timberman, a rifleman, was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, out of Twentynine Palms, Calif.

Timberman moved to Minong from Colorado with his mother in 2001 and enrolled in Northwood High School as a sophomore, said Paul Lake, a counselor at the school. He wrestled for the Evergreens, but...

	Harry, Catrina loved you with all her heart and you kept her going with your love and support before during and after she lost your niece/nephew who is buried at the Penrose cemetary. She talked of you all the time and looked forward to your calls and letters. I am sorry that I will never get to meet you at least in this world but you will always hold a special place in the heart of all the Maxwells. Please say hello to that little angel in heaven for us. You touched some many lives in different ways in your brief time on this earth in ways others can't imagine... Some people can be given a life time on this earth and accomplish nothing, and there are some people who are given a short time and accomplish so much... You Mr. Flores-Mejia aka Ricky was that person and soldier who accomplish so much in your shoft tme... hello my name is Jesus Vega I would like to give my condolences to Christopher's family and friends, I served with him in Iraq and slept in the same quarters. I have many fond memories of him. I have never forgotten his sacrifice. I would like to share that the greatest memory I had of Chris is that he would speak highly of his mom and how much she meant to him.
