| Freedom Isn't Free
I watched the flag pass by one day.
It fluttered in the breeze
A young soldier saluted it, and then
He stood at ease.
I looked at him in uniform
So young, so tall, so proud
With hair cut square and eyes alert
He'd stand out in any crowd.
I thought how many men like him
Had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign soil?
How many mothers' tears?
How many Pilots' planes shot down?
How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?
No Freedom isn't free
I heard the sound of taps one night,
When everything was still.
I listened to the bugler play
And felt a sudden chill.
I wondered just how many times
That taps had meant "Amen"
When a flag had draped a coffin
of a brother or a friend.
I thought of all the children,
Of the mothers and the wives,
Of fathers, sons and husbands
With interrupted lives.
I thought about a graveyard at the
bottom of the sea
Of unmarked graves in Arlington.....
No -- Freedom isn't free!!

I love and miss you more than you will ever know. I know that you are happier than you could ever be in this horrible world and wouldn't even come back if you had the chance, but I would love for you to be here for just a few mins so I could tell you just how much you mean to me and how proud of you I am. I can never say everything I want to say on this things, but you know how much I love you and that I will see you soon. I love you!

| Mere words cannot express the love i have had for you since the day we met. You were my knight in shing armor and always will be. We always said to each other that we live for each other and my heart breaks that the same love also took you from me. I will always love you-til death do us part does not apply here. You were the only thing in my life that did make sense. Until we meet again "rabies"....
