Dear John, on that clear and beautiful September morning, I saw the tower, your workplace, on fire, and I thought of you and hoped you were safe in the other tower. I couldn't remember which one you worked in. When I saw the second plane hit, I , like others, was aghast. I hoped you were away on travel or working from home, but you weren't. I am sure the angels received you into paradise as that would be the only acceptable place for such a refined gentleman like you. Be at peace, dear friend, and know your absence is painful to many.
Tim Tomasi, colleague

A bomb squad detective, Claude would never have guessed that passenger jets would be the catalyst to be as deadly as a bomb striking the WTC towers. He lived his work assignment knowing of the dangers. He was a fraternal brother in the International Police Association. I have a daily reminder: a mercy B.A.N.D. (Bearing Another's Name Daily) on my forearm. God bless you, brother.
Steve Rabi, fraternal police officer, I.P.A.
