I will miss the international bent that he brought to network news. His passing marks the end of a great age in news broadcasting.

I want to thank his family for this opportunity for giving him to us also. I know he loved what he did just by the look on his face. Please pass on my condolences to all who loved him. Now you can all know how widely loved your special man was.

BY Anonymous on Aug 08, 2005 | | | | my thoughts and prayers go out to peterjennings family. i am never one to watch the news every night. but, when i do, it was abc and peter jennings. i was watching the night peter announced he had lung cancer. it was like losing someone that you depended on to be there for you every night. but, i thought he would be back in a few months. i would watch almost every night, hoping to see his kind and caring face. but then came the sad news today. he was a great journalist and he will be greatly missed. may God speed.
