 Bill, it is amazing the way the people touch each other. I was blessed to escort a friend to your grave site in Arlington. We were not there 15 min and we were greeted by your mother. It was nothing short of a miracle to be there at the same time that she was visiting. Then during a Patriot Guard flag line at the Bourne cemetery, the man next to me commented that Arlington was a nicer place and asked if I had ever been there. I told him that I had the pleasure of visiting your grave site with a friend. He then introduced himself as your uncle. This is a small world and you have touched so many. God bless.

 My deepest condolences to the family of Gunny. A nick name the troups called him. My best best friend was seriously injured in the same Humvee as Terry and is still recovering 3 years later in DC. I wished I had known Terry, as I hear so many wonderful stories about him. I pray that time has healed your broken hearts as he's serving our Lord Jesus Christ. Gods Blessings

It's been 20 years since your passing... However, I never forgotten the day you told me I am married, I am going to have a baby, and day your son was born... You touched some many lives in different ways in your brief time on this earth in ways others can't imagine... Some people can be given a life time on this earth and accomplish nothing, and there are some people who are given a short time and accomplish so much... You Mr. Flores-Mejia aka Ricky was that person and soldier who accomplish so much in your shoft tme... As I see the days pass by, and the war seems to be a distant memory, your memory is still alive in my life, and still on this and like other days with my grandchildren I sit back like we did many times and listen to those West Coast oldies... "Never Forgotten"
