My Dearest Family; Some things I'd like to say. But, first of all to let you know I arrived okay. I'm writing this letter from Heaven, where I dwell with GOD Above. Where there is no more tears or sadness there is just eternal love. Please don't be unhappy just because I'm out of sight, remember that I'm with you every morning, noon, and night. That day I had to leave you, when my life on Earth was through, GOD picked me up and He said, " I welcome you." It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here so badly as aprt of my big plan. There's so much we have to do to help our mortal man." Then GOD gave me a list of things to do, and foremost on that list of mine is to watch and care for you. And I will be beside you every day and week and year, and when you're sad, I'll be standing there to wipe away your tears. And when you lie in bed at night the days chores put to flight, GOD and I are closest to you in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on Earth and all those loving years, because you are human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry it does relieve the pain, remember there would be no flowers unless there was some rain. I wish I could tell you of all that GOD has planned for me, but if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is certain though my life on Earth is over, I am closer to you now than I was before. And to my loved ones and friends, trust that GOD knows what is best. I'm still not far from you, I'm just beyond the crest. There are many rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb; but together we can do it taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too, that as you give unto the world, so the world will give to you. If you can help someone who is in sorrow or pain--then you can say to GOD at night, my day was not in vain. And now I am contented that my life was worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody who is down and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go. When you are walking down the street and you've got me on your mind, I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind. And when you feel the gentle breeze or wind upon your face, that's me giving you a great big hug or soft embrace. And when it's your time to go, from that body to be free. " I know how you feel " because I don't. I have lost parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and pets, but I've never lost my child. So how can I say " I know how you feel." ?~~I won't say, " You'll get over it." because you won't. Life will have to go on. The working, washing, cooking, cleaning, the common routine. The chores take your mind off your love and cherished child, but the hurt will still be there.~~I won't say " other'swill comfort you " because they may not.~~I won't say, " Never mind, you are young enough to have another child." A new child can not replace the child you lost.~~So what will I say ?~~I will say, " I am here. I care. Anytime. Anywhere." I will talk about your child. We will talk about the good memories. I won't mind how long you grieve. I won't tell you to pull yourself together."~~No, I do not know how you feel--but with sharing perhaps I will learn a little bit of what you are going through.~~And perhaps you'll find comfortable with me and find your burden has eased. There is nothing I can do, to make Jeremy come back. There are no words I can say, that replaces the words and voice you so long to hear. There are no answers I can give, that will satisfy your questions. There is not another soul that will ever replace him. Never another love that could replace the special love you shared. I can not promise your broken heart will be complete. I will not deny it was a tragedy. I will not lie and tell you that he will come back. For he never really left. I do promise that he hears you. I will say he loves you no matter the distance. I will not lie, he is waiting to greet you someday. He is with you every step you take, he is with you in everything you do. He is the air that you breathe. He is every beat of your heart. He is like the wind. You cannot see him---but you will always feel him.
The Broken Chain.--We little knew that evening that GOD was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, the day GOD called you home.You left us loving memories, your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seem sthe same. But, as GOD calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
The road isn't as straight as it used to be, it twists and turns and is scary to me. I don't want to travel this road all alone, please take my hand, show me the way home. Around every corner nothing's the same, I don't know know the streets, I don't know their names. This journey is long, the end is unknown. I'm getting weary and want to go home. But as I travel, there are others I see, traveling down the same road as me. Maybe these travelers will understand, I want to go home, please take my hand. When traveling alone the road seems so long, but traveling with others will make you strong.Together we'll walk down the path of the unknown, and by walking together we will make it home.~~My Loving Family, I did not have to walk the path alone, I walked the Streets of Gold with Jesus who held my hand comforted me and Staff Sgt. What he left behind.~~When someone passes away it is never easy. We tend to think about they will no longer be here to witness instead of what gifts, talents, and memories they gave us. With you it was no different, we will all miss you forever, but you did leave some important things behind for us.~~Jeremy, you showed us that life was short and that we should enjoy every minute that we are blessed with. You were always the one who wanted to have fun and explore the world in which you lived.~~You were a person who could get along with just about anyone. You had friends in a lot of different places. Granted~~We took for granted " another day". I want you to know a brief moment of darkness was all that I knew, before Heaven's Gates came into view. Loved ones and friends that I had missed for many years, welcomed me with open arms and many happy tears. All the hurt, fear, and pain that I have ever known, is gone from my life, I am finally home. I gazed upon the LORD'S sweet smiling face, and for the first time in my life....I knew and felt his grace.
