There is a Hickory Parade this Saturday, December 10, 2011. There will be 150 fallen heroes remembered during this parade. We will all be carrying posters with each fallen hero's information. It will be my daughter Ansley's honor to walk in remembrance of Christopher White. At 7 years old, she doesn't understand it all but wanted to learn more about Christopher. She is honored to represent your loved one. I know that losing a loved one must be very hard but his time serving our country will always be remembered. God bless you and your family!Julie ByrdHickory, NC

Sending my condolences to your wife, family and friends. Although I didn't know you, my parents were your neighbors in El Paso and I remember a time when my dad was in Iraq, it was late at night and my mom thought someone had broken into her house. You came to her house and checked out the property to see if all was safe. I live in California so I was greatful for your selfless actions. You put your own life on the line, day in and out to make sure we , as Americans, we as members of the human race were kept safe and that i will forever be greatful. From what I've heard about you, you touched many lives and are a special angel now who will watch over everyone from the heavens above.
I want to say so sorry for your loss. Thank you too all of our hero's. We will be praying for all of the family. God bless all of you; and God Bless America. From the Beatty and Clark FamilyMattoon,IL

Not a day goes by that I dont think of you, of the life that we had...and yet it still is not easy. I continue to love you with the love that we shared, the life that we had, the life that we lost. Each day, each year that goes by reminds me of the time lost to our dreams. As always, Ill live my life as you wished for me to do and Ill think of you daily because that gives me peace. You are always with me.
