"Nadia and Family, this message board is a wonderful thing. It has taken me awhile to truly put my thoughts together and memories to where I want to share of the love of a great friend. Patrick was one of my first friends and many who he knew later in his life may not have known him as I did when we were children. Patrick lived in the house behind my Grandma's in Sunnyvale on Roosevelt Street and always came to our family to share in with us and our parties, Christmas and Birthdays. Patrick and I would always play in Grandma's back bedroom with her multitude of thrift store toys that seemed like gold to us. We were friends, and the best kind of friends. Everytime My 2 Sisters Tammy and Wendy and my Cousin Kathy would be over Grandma would tell us to go into the back and get Patrick so he could join in the fun! Patrick always was a leader even as children, and so smart. He loved my Great Grandma and she loved him too. They always remembered Patrick at Chrsitmas with gifts, they loved him as their own. When Great Grandma died in March of 1985 Patrick and his Father Bob attended the funeral in San Jose and brought yellow roses, Great Grandma's favorite. He was always thoughtful and we have many happy memories of him in our childhood, always talented and speaking well of his Father and the many adventures traveling to see his Mother Nadia. He even gave me some Tahaitan Francs from one of his trips to which I still have and treasure to this day! He once had a yard sale and sold me a ventriliquist dummy to which at age 9 he wrote me out a receipt for the $7.00 I paid! He always knew how to take care and handle business, even as a child. I will always remember Patrick as a great childhood friend to which I share many memories and his dog LuLu!!!! His gentle Father Bob and beautiful Mother Nadia- My prayers are that God let him rest and that the world may know the sacrifice of this great person. My only goal is to continue to support Nadia in her efforts and Patrick's children in their future so they may know their Dad was a very awesome guy. My familys love to his."Mark Nelson of Sacramento, California

Mr. & Mrs. Cawvey,I met Jessica during our time in Iraq, and she touched my heart. We always called each other our namesake. We sat in the bunker, and spoke about our kids. She always talked about her daughter. We all lost someone special, and I think of her everyday. She is everyone's Angel!
I send my deepest condolences, because I know it can not be easy without Jessica.
Much love,Spc Johnson, Jessyca P245th Maintenance CompanySt Louis, MoOIF II 2004-2005

My husband and Sev were good friends from the days of Christian Life. The last time we saw Sev was a couple of years ago. He told my husband that he was gonna get Osama BenLaudin. Knowing Sev, we knew that he was going to give this commitment his all and he did. We are very proud to have known Sev. He is now and will always be our American Hero. Thank you Sev for fighting for us. He gave his life so that we could live ours and have great pride in our country.
"You have never lived until you have almost died, for those who have fought for it, life has a special flavor the protected will never know." Sev was one of my biggest heros growing up and still is. He was the most couragous, outgoing, and happy person I knew. You will be selfishly missed by my family and I. I love you much bud and can't wait to see that huge smile again!Gregory Bivin II
sam is my cousin. I we never really hung out too much. But I loved the guy anyways. I remember eating kraft singles with sam in the back of his moms car looking out the back window. he was 9 years younger than me. It seems strange to me now that he is gone. That little kid eating cheese with me is gone. I have a hard time with the way he died. so far away from his home. I am sure that his unit was like family to him. And they probably knew him more than I ever did. I hope that their relatives don't have to go through what sam's family and in extension my family did. Take care over there guys.
Richie I will never ever forget you. i miss you dearly and I'm glad to know that you are with Jesus. Keep us safe and look over us. I love you and you're still my favorite wrestler!~Kaitlin

I knew Sev back in the 90's when he was still doing some training. You would not meet a better man in your life. He popped back into my mind recently and I was wondering what ever became of him and as I should have known, he was doing what he loved; he loved adventure, action, familly and using his God given talents. I always admired him and will forever be in his debt. We should all be so brave. His personality was a fricken magnet. The only problem I had with him was keeping up...never could.
Take care and thank you to my friend Sev and all of you service men. We always regret telling you how much you mean to us till its too latePatrick Cahill
Your hometown is proud of you. The long line of American flags and residents lining the way as you returned just 30 minutes ago are proof of that. We are all thinking of the sacrifice you and your family have made and you are all in our sincere prayers.

Benjamin - your life and example in giving liberty and life to others will forever endear you in the Ranger Hall of Fame. Rest well in knowing that you ran the good race and are forever remembered for your heroism and sacrifice.
I am at COP zerok and had the honor of serving with Fairbairn... we are all still feeling this tragedy.. and he will be greatly missed...he was hit while doing his job and supressing the enemy.. while doing so he gave the rest of us valuble seconds to get to our positions and defend the COP... he saved many lives that day and without him who knows where we will be.. when we came here we all knew the risk we were facing and aaron and casillas paidd the ultimate price and while the rest of able company is still feeling their loss we are all very much appreciative of what they did... Rest in Peace young soldier.. you can finally let your guard down... Gone.. but NEVER forgotten... thank you!!! God Bless you and your family...... Geronimo Always
Posey, I'll never forget meeting you for the 1st time at some stupid mandatory meeting to meet Capt. Pion when he 1st came to 1/2 you were always so happy even when you were on restriction i remember seeing you walking to the ood hut to check in and you were smiling and joking with my husband Cpl. Howard i had brought him dinner when he was on duty we were so sad to hear of your death we have both cried many tears and said what if you were still with 1/2 or what if they had trained you a little more. And in my heart i think i blame 1/2 for not taking care of you and sending you to regiment who then sent you to 2/8 but i know that God put you here and in our lives for a reason even though it was brief you served a purpose and as i sit here tonight I think about your smile and how whenever my husband or I ever saw you you had the biggest smile and you showed me that no matter whats going on in life theres always a reason to smile and i thankyou! To your family i'm so sorry for your loss you and Posey as we know him will always be in our hearts and you all in our prayers because i know that Greg is in a better place thankyou for sacraficing your son so that I may be free!
