Thank you for all you have done Cliff! You are always in our thoughts. I know that after you gave your life, you looked over the rest of the 1/6 to make sure they all came home and I thank you for protecting my brother
You are not forgotten. My husband was in 2nd battalion and there the day the IED went off. He wears your name and memory on his wrist to this very day. God be with you and your family

Dear Lord,I send a prayer with all of my heart to my departed sabunim Robert Hernandez. He did ask me to go back to church and has been of great assistance to me as long as I knew him.
I knew Rich from school and from his family life. He lived with his Mom and step Dad and from what he told me he was very content. He told me his father had little to do with his life. His step dad treated him like his own son. He taught him to drive, took him for his drivers test, got him excused from traffic tickets, picked him up from sporting and band events and was there for him during local band and sporting events. He told me his "father" wanted to give him to a foster family because he could not control him during a short visit with his father. His mother immediatly took control. Rich was her son and she loved him more than life. She made sure he had everything he needed and wanted including entering the Army against her wishes. She knew this was what he wanted so she signed the papers. She lives with this every day of her life. But she knows now that it was what Rich wanted and he died for a purpose. His Mom loved him enough to let him make his own choises regardless of how she felt. His dad condemned her for that choice. He loved his mom for her decision. His dad placed the responsibility of his death on his Mom. He loved his mom for believing in him...he hated his dad for not believing in him.
I never knew Daniel, but he saved my son's life, and he speaks with pride of Danies, on this memorial day I just want you to know that I am thiking of him and all the other fallen soldiers, and those still in fighting zones. May they all come home soon as my son did. God Bless all of you.
My condolences to the family and friends or Roslyn. Words cannot fill the emptiness or ese the pain. My prayers are with you all in this great sacrafice. God Bless You all!
I love you and believe you are the best friend I never had. I am so happy to have known you and wish I could have seen more of you. Thank GOD for you! You changed my life. Believe that!

Dear Ybarra Family,I would personally like to show you my appreciation for Henry Ybarra III’s dedication to serving our great country and to have the courage to stand up for people and proudly serve.
I’m a cadet at James Bowie High School and have been interested in serving our country in the U.S. Army. By hearing about Sgt.Ybarra’s story it shows me that people will fight for and stand up for what they believe in. His life is a big price to pay but it is greatly appreciated by me and my family. I wanted to show my appreciation and thank you from the bottom of my heart. You and Sgt. Ybarra are paying the highest price imaginable for me and my family to be able to enjoy the freedom’s our country has to offer and while I can never pay you back I felt it important to tell you how I felt and to let you know that there is someone out there who does appreciate the sacrafices you must be facing everyday. My prayers go out for you and your family and escpecially to Sgt Ybarra's children who will not be able to grow up knowing a great man.Sincerely,Barbara Juliet Shaw

Me and Mattox went through basic training together at Fort Benning, Ga and I'll never forget when Drill Sergeant Mozingo was smoking us and you started laughing hysterically because Griffin fell on his face. Infantry Leads The Way!
