John was the best there was. He will be missed more than words could ever express. My sadness for you and your children consumes my heart and I will think of you everyday and pray that John will always be there for you, looking out for you and will stand by your side for the rest of your lives. I love you all.
When you told us you were joining the Army, we thought you had the determination to make it. We know how hard you worked and how proud you were to be in the U.S. Army! Your letters meant a lot to us because we knew it wasn't an easy place to be, but you kept on doing what needed to be done. Our love and prayers are with you and your family and especially your dad and mom and brothers. The whole Idalski family is very proud of you and we will never forget the beautiful tribute the town of Crown Point and the United States of America paid to you for your loss and for your service to this great country of ours. We will always love you! Aunt Carol and Uncle Ray Idalski family

I just thought that everyone should know what a great person Eric was. He was a good friend of mine, he was family to my family. He always had a smile on his face and it was very contagious. We deeply miss him and can't wait for the day when we can reunite with him. He's in good hands now.
CHEESE, THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD TIMES BRO AND ALL THE MEMORIES.IM NOT GON SAY GOODBYE,BUT SEE YOU SOON.I KNOW GOD IS TAKING CARE OF YOU NOW AND YOUR WATCHING US FROM ABOVE.
you are missed greatly baby. i know you're in heaven now and i cannot wait 'til we see each other again. i'll make sure that your mother is taken care of as well as for your siblings. i love you and miss you, and we will see each other again.
I watched the flag pass by one day. It fluttered in the breeze A young soldier saluted it, and then He stood at ease. I looked at him in uniform So young, so tall, so proud With hair cut square and eyes alert He'd stand out in any crowd. I thought how many men like him Had fallen through the years. How many died on foreign soil? How many mothers' tears? How many Pilots' planes shot down? How many foxholes were soldiers' graves? No Freedom isn't free
I heard the sound of taps one night, When everything was still. I listened to the bugler play And felt a sudden chill. I wondered just how many times That taps had meant "Amen" When a flag had draped a coffin of a brother or a friend. I thought of all the children, Of the mothers and the wives, Of fathers, sons and husbands With interrupted lives. I thought about a graveyard at the bottom of the sea Of unmarked graves in Arlington..... No -- Freedom isn't free!!

Just wanted to say that i work with Adam's aunt in Missouri. I didnt know him personally but I know her and work with her everyday.. She always told us stories about her family and her nephew. We felt like we knew him as well. It his us like a ton of bricks when we found out about Adam. We all thought the same thing... How sad. We are all truely sorry but just know that he is even remembered with people who didnt know him personally but shared his life through his aunt. WE are very proud of him for serving this country but deeply sad that things turned out the way it has. Today we read the clippings that she brought in and I have to say we shed some tears as well.. Had to walk way and read on my own. I am truely sorry. His aunt is a very nice person who is strong but it hurts my heart to see her eyes she is forever changed. Just know we care as well and we will keep his spirt alive. God bless you. C.White, Missouri.

My little Brother, my brave little brother. My heart aches to see your face again. Thanks for fighting for our country and what a GREAT SOLDIER YOU ARE. You will be missed all day everyday. I LOVE YOU SOOO. REST IN PEACE LITTLE BROTHER. I LOVE YOU SO.
I had the honor of meeting Noah once in high school. I never really knew him although my husband, played football with him for a few years and knew him as as a friend. His death has impacted us greatly. Our prayers are with his family and friends. One thing I have learned from reading about this great American Hero is how he loved to help others; what greater place to be, in heaven, where he can do the most to help and watch over his loved ones. I had the misfortune of losing a baby once and even though my tradgedy was nothing compared, I found comfort in knowing I would see him again. Thank you for your sacrafice.
I have never met you...but I know your wife's Mom and also your Daughter Tay. I have heard anything but good things about you. I know retirement was not far off. I was told you could not leave the young men under you that were going to Iraq. You left your most prized posessions- your children- in the care of your beloved Wife Bobbie and your extended family. Under their care, your memory will live on.You will live on on the lives of your children and those who knew you, and your family in Kentucky. You will live on in the hearts of people who never met you. Thank you for your service to this country. Rest in Peace young man. My thoughts are with your family. God Bless you.
