I went to boot camp and infantry school with Nick. He would come home with me on the weekends and spend time with my family. Everybody loved him. He was such a great person. I think about you alot Nick. We had alot of great times. Semper Fi Lance Corporal Larson.

Allen Family, I had the honor of serving with Nekl during OIF IV in the Rakkasans. I remember him as bright and motivated Soldier. He was an exceptional NCO who could always be found exactly where he belonged, with his men. His service exemplified the best in all of us. He will not be forgotten.'til we form again....RAKKASAN!
Autumn, I knew your daddy very well ... he loved you and your sister very very much, he talked about you girls all the time.. Know he is watching over you now and always...he is your angel!
I never forget the good times we had together. When we played soccer, changed our bicycles had a lot of ice cream and so on.Good bless you and your family.your friendFrank
David was once an older peer of mine and I still can't understand how I am now older than one of of my closest friends.Myself, 23 now I can't imagine the amount of good times we had left. I blame no one but those who voted republican before and during the years of the Bush administration. (you know who you are). My family and I cried for for him, though his demise was no fault of his own. I'll sooner forgive the people who set off the roadside bomb than I forgive those who are responsible for the overseas ''shipment to battle'' of my dear friend David. I was with David the night before his trip back to Iraq. We shared a bottle off whiskey and a long talk. He told me he never wanted to be part of this situation in the first place, and how he just wanted the funds to get into college and make something of himself for his mothers sake. Well... Good luck anyhow David. You did not fail the system, the system failed you.

I am originally from Hopkinsville, Ky. I lived in Ft. Hood, Tx for five years. My husband was killed over in Iraq as well and he was also part of the 4th Infantry division. I just wanted to say to the family that you are not alone! And I am praying you through. Your sons memory will forever and always live on. Thankyou for your sacrifice. Amanda Mier Of Hopkinsville, Ky.
Whoever is saying that travis is their father please stop. First he wasn't even in the phillipines at the time you should have been born and also he never touched foot in the country as he couldn't leave the ship. If you want to prove this we can have a DNA test. I am his wife and the mother of his ONLY TWO CHILDREN. He is not your father and please stop ruining his name if you want you can contact me to get this straight. so stop lying

To the family and loved ones of Kyle, we thank you for the honor of Kyle being there for all of us to support the United States. We pray for you to have peace, and eventually for to be able to clearly see the joy that Kyle shows in his smile, that he shared. We pray that the confusion of 'why' is subdued and ask for strength for all of our service persons and their families.
Aaron was my best friend. I met him 5 years ago when he was stationed in Rota, Spain.. and in those 5 years I learned what an amazing guy he was. He was far too young to go now. We had so many plans..and now I'll never see him or talk to him again. It hurts so much, but I hope wherever he is, he's at peace. I'm currently working on a memorial video for him.. if any of his friends see this, look out for it on youtube. It will have his name in the title.-JuzAGirl
I only knew Russell for about a year and a half, we talked during his deployment to Iraq. But he was a good guy. I hope he's at peace now. He was far too young.-JuzAGirl

I miss you Mikey..I'll never forget you or all the fun times we shared. You were an amazing friend and I'm so proud of you for all you did for this country. I wish you were here to see it all. I love you
To the Bohle family:I wish to express my deepest condolences to you in this time of grief. Brad and I had become friends during the Q Course and stayed friends throughout as we were both medics and only separated by one class. I am currently serving in 1st Battalion, 1st SFG(A) and recently returned from a deployment to learn of your loss. The entire community grieves with you and mourns your loss. Brad was not just a good soldier; he was a good man, a good friend, and a good mentor. He always offered up words of encouragement to those that were having difficulties in the Course and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."- John Stuart MillVery Respectfully,Tinsley, Scott ASSG, USADe Opresso Liber
