Taurean, who can ever forget your beautiful smile, your wonderful personality and your determination to achieve any goal that you set out to do. Taurean, it hurts so much that you are not here with us anymore but I know that God took you for a reason. You were such a sweet and wonderful person and if every man in the world was like you what a wonderful world we would have. Taurean I love you and you will forever be in my heart and your family in my prayers. Love Always,Jennifer
Tommy was a neighbor of mine. My sister and I used to even babysit him and his brother when they were small. But just fyi, the image you have of him is actually his brother Corey.
for the information of the readers, pfc soenkson was not killed while transporting office supplies. she was involved with training iraqi forces to be able to take over control of their own country, and was killed while patroling one of the most dangerous neighborhood in bagdad. dont express your ingorance by assuming women are only allowed to deliver staplers

This is a tribute to the only I man have ever or will ever love. You are in my heart forever, and not one moment of each day goes by that I don't think of you. You were and are my soul mate, and my life is so very lonely without you. I pray each night that I will wake up and realize it's only a bad dream, but i'm only fooling myself. I love you so much and sometimes life is unbearable without your smile or your loving embrace. I will always know that the safest place in this world was in your arms. I'm not me anymore without you. You and Steven completed me. Now all I feel is emptiness. I know I have a job to do here raising our son. And I hope you are proud of us. You will always be our hero and we keep you safe in our hearts. I pray each night that I dream about you. I know your with us, because I can feel you all around me. I will love you forever until we are together again. I light this candle for you as I always kept one lite for you when you were here.Sleep tight my angelLove your wife foreverBarbara
Taurean, I wasn't ready to close that chapter in my life. The chapter that began and ended with you. It was only for a short time but that time was special to me. When I recieve the phone call about you, my heart sank. I was in denial. This has to be a dream. It seems like it was yesterday when I started teasing your broters by calling them my lil brother-in-laws. Me and Will still joke around with it. That became his new name to me. He knew what the chapter was all about. It wasn't very many that did but what was important was that we knew it. I'm sitting here remembering that Alisha Keys song "You don't know my name" with tears in my eyes because that song is what made it all happen. But this is my promise to you. That song will never end. It is what will make our chapter continue. My tears will never dry. But I know you will be fine now that you are at home. I just pray that God closed yours eyes and put your sul at rest before the tragedy took place. So continue to smile down on those who will hold your memories close. Everytime I see the sun shining or a star twinkling, I will know thats you smiling telling us that everything is alright now. But just remember, when your mom has her head down because she is missing her son, pick it up and wipe her eyes. When your daughter goes through life having heartaches and pains, kiss her on the chick and tell her that it will get better. Help your brothers understand that you are not too far away from them. And when I begin to feel like I'm on the last page of the chapter, turn the song on in my ear and let me know that another page is on the way. I will always miss you.
Bush has truly lost what I believe was his best soldier!!! Taurean I remember when we first met. It was a peewee baseball game at the old community center in Gloster; you were number "8" and I can remember that because you were the only one on the team that gave the game their all. You were a true soldier back then and you are still one now. Though we were sad that you had to go I can imagine how anxious God was that you were finally on your way home...he was probably more excited than anxious...but I can honestly say that of all men I knew under 30 you were the most mature and the most giving. We will miss you but it wont be for long because God seems to be calling all good soldiers home!!! love always Renicia Sharhonda and Reondra
. ."Salmo 34:18
One of the most honorable young men, that I've ever meet. It was because of his honor, joy and peace, that I went back and answered the call of duty. Often he would tell me " keep on singing bro ". It is with Great Honor that I say, bro your life was and is a song that keeps on singing every day. You'll never be forgotten......Bro. Larry
A life short lived, but full, I wish that only I could have met the man that sacrificed the ultimate. I became family a little over a year ago, and from that point forward and even before I have only heard wonderful words when referring to Travis. My first meeting of the family was to mourn Travis. A wonderful man is now his parent's and family's guardian angel. With parent's and family as wonderful, I am honored to be part of it all. Pamela Manion

As I drove North along the route to find an appropriate spot to stand, I was amazed at the number of participants. I am happy to say that I had to drive almost 6 miles to find a spot that looked "vacant enough" for me to fill, as it was my desire to make sure that at no point along the journey, would the family not see someone standing there for him, the way he stood for us.
I know I was thinking of how he spent his time standing in the sunshine for me, in 65 pounds of gear, with no relief in sight, wondering if at any minute he would be fired upon.
I kept thinking that I had the solace of knowing that in about an hour, I could go home to my house, jump in my pool and change out of my sweaty shorts and t-shirt.
Cody wasn't able to do that and although he did come home, he didn't enjoy the pool, or the air conditioning or the cold Diet Coke. He didn't get to see his family or his dogs. He didn't get to speak to his friends on the cell phone about Friday night's football game.
When I finally got in the house after my dip in the cool waters of the luscious blue pool, my 3-year old daughter was wondering why I still had tears in my eyes almost 2 hours after the procession past me.
The biggest part of all, is that she WILL understand why and I will never forget.
Alan, of all those lost, you have been the hardest on us. Not a day goes by that you are not thought of. You are missed by many. Thank you for being a friend to our son and thank you for all that you gave for your country. ---Angela and Bob
Matthew, such a brief but honorable life. You are in our thoughts often. Thank you for your sacrifice. You will always be remembered. ---Angela and Bob
I did not have the honor of meeting Shane, but my son served with him and said he was an awesome guy. Thank you Shane; you are missed and will never be forgotten.---Sincerely, Angela and Bob
Braden was my son-in-law. He would have turned 20 years old on Tuesday Aug. 7 and was scheduled to come home on leave this weekend. He will be greatly missed.
On behalf of my friend KathyMorgia and all others, I would like to thank you, Richard, for the sacrifice you have made for this country and our way of life. In the fullness of time we will all reflect on your memory and know you did not leave us in vain.

9/11 changed my life forever, I will not go back to who I was. When those planes hit the towers, they took your life. That day woke me up to what freedom really means and who protects freedom for everyone. Thank you and your family for your sacrifice. Lynn,Chris is the light in your life. His light lives on. You see the light shine from everyone he has touched in life and through death. He is always with you.
Job well done MARINE. As a Staff Sergeant of Marines I know that you are an Icon for those young Hard Chargers to immulate. I think of the selfless devotion to duty and the Marines in your units and it makes me scream OOH RAH at the top of my lungs at the same time as I mourn your death I say ooh rah in the softest voice that I could possibly muster. To the family of such a warrior I am proud of you. I am proud that you raised a proud son, one son that excepted his flaws and excelled in what he knew. Your son is a leader. I do not know him personnally but I feel him throughout me and if I was ever to take his place in death I know that it wouldnt have stopped him from continuing his everyday mission. You son is truly a Devildog! He has my respect and also the troops under my control. I will make sure to preach the heroics of your son, so that he is not forgotten.
Ms. Wagner,Every man, woman and child in this great country owes your son their respect and gratitude. I am now writing to offer mine. For the courage of those who have died, and the courage of those who yet will, we give honor. We honor your son who gave his blood, that this country, and our safety and freedom, should never perish from the earth. And we honor you, with him, who have "laid so great a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom."
I have never met you, but your story touched me deeply. You are a true hero and I thank you for your selflessness. I also thank your parents for raising such a fine young man. I have 2 teenage boys and I would be so proud if they even had 1/4 of the loyalty and courage that you had.
Tee...I cant find the words to say that I am so sorry for the loss of a great MAN, SOLDIER, FATHER, & FRIEND. It hurts me deeply to know that I will never get to see you or hear your voice talking about your Pride & Joy..." Tiana". My heart goes out to your family and friends...The world has really lost a true blessing!!!! You were truly a MCB...
My Cousin - My HERO!!!May God keep you in his loving arms and watch over your parents. I love you like a brother & will never forget you. Your memory will never die.
