He was a great co-worker, friend, and above all, mentor. Still in so much disbelief that there will be no more of the enthusiastic chats, beer discussions, and his unique laughter. Glad I had an opportunity to meet such a great guy like him; it was truly an honor.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Eric's family at this time. We were close to Eric and Skye while he was stationed in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in 2003.. we were all each other's life-lines at that time.. and as it goes with Army life you end up going your seperate ways and loosing touch with those you have grown close to..After years of searching trying to find Eric this is what we found and our hearts were triggered..Eric was a generous man, full of compassion and humor.. a terrible dancer.. but thats what made you love him.. he was there everytime you needed him no questions asked..Eric is a hero and I give him our many many thanks for defending our country and losing his life.. may his memory be kept alive for his children and in hope they will know that their father is a REAL hero..To all our soilders our many thanks and all our prayers.. your never forgotten as we know you will never forget us.. May your hearts and your souls find peace and comfort in the arms of God for now you are safe and still loved..

Any loss in this war is one to many, the only thing that I can say to the family and friends of this fine WARRIOR, is that their are so many people that are thinking of you in this tragic time and know that Capt. Foster is always with you and you will be reunited with him one day, although I'm sure that it wont be soon enough for you. God Bless.

I was there the night of Aug 17th. I known 1LT Edds all of 6 hours after taking over my platoon. The first and last thing he said to me was " A Michigan man huh? Go Blue! " From there I knew he were going to get along great. Nothing I can say will ease the suffering that his familey will endure, but know that every possaible messure was taken to ensure that 1LT Edds had a fighting chance. Our pnly regret is that we were unable to keep his life. My brother who was on another patroll also wanted me to offer his condolences. Sorry for you loss.

I grew up with Tom from 5th grade until our graduating class of 134 people walked the Isle June 5th 1999. We weren't real close but in a class that size who doesn't know everyone and thier brother...or this case sister? I just want to say that I still think about Tom everyday, takes me back to Madras, and Tigar Mart and all the little stupid things we used to do in that lil' one horse town. I don't think that the wars are worth the people we love and nobody should have to loose someone as special as Tom was. I proudly hang a gold star for you in my window Tom. To make things harder...my brother-n-law who I was very close to hung himself the next day after you were found. Needless to say I was having issues. On the one year anniversary of you guys I got a tattoo that will remind me of the ones we loose everyday. Thank you for being a hero Tom....you are missed.
I always here about how our country is going down the tubes, and how todays young generations just aren't getting it. And then I read a story about 21 yr. old Nathan Hubbard. A MAN. Who understood that this life is not about just you. Its about honor and family and sacrificing for others. How much courage it took the day this kid and his brother enlisted is beyond words to comprehend, even after losing their brother. Thank you, Mr. Hubbard for restoring my faith. You are great and will be rewarded in your kingdom. God Bless.
I thank your children for their fight in our freedom and all of us will mourn in the loss of both your son's and their fallen brothers and sisters. May God keep them by his side and let them be your light of hope and strength.
Joshua was a great son in law and a wonderful husband. My daughter Kendra is devastated and the fact that Alexis will not know her daddy will break my heart until the day I see him again.
We have many wonderful memories to share with her and I vow that she will always know she is a Morley, who her daddy is and the kind of man he was.
