O God, by whose mercy the faithful departed find rest, look kindly on Your departed veteran who gave his life in the service of his country. Grant that through the passion, death, and resurrection of Your Son he may share in the joy of Your heavenly kingdom and rejoice in You with Your saints forever. I ask this through Christ our Lord

Thank you for recognizing the efforts Tim and all of the other fallen soldiers have endured. Tim will never be forgotten by anyone who was ever lucky enough to have known him. And even for those who did not have the privilege, I know he would be proud to have called you his friend. My heart goes out to all who will no longer get to enjoy his loyal and loving freindship and dedication. Most of all, for his wife and children who will miss him daily. As for the rest of my family members, our formation will never be the same.

There is nothing I can say that would make this better, just know that you are in my thoughts. He was a great man. SSG Kirk HolcombeCamp Rustamyiah, Iraq
To the family, Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I am Keith's aunt and I just wanted to let you know we are thinking of you at this difficult time. Jane O'Brien
How awful it is to take someone who is so full of pride and honor to serve their country and then cost them their life just to provide security for a convoy transporting office equipment to a high ranking officer. I hope his office equipment went with Katie. Regardless of why you were sent on that mission, you were following orders and died a hero. I am deeply saddened by the news of your death, what a terrible waste. I wish someone would send a message to these idiots that our soldiers are not expendable for their own personal gain. RIP Katie
I know the pain that your love ones are going through and I just wanted to tell you that you will never be forgotten and I pray for your family. Thank you and all our service men and women that are willing to give their lifes for us. RIP

Valiant, we love you very much. You've been here always in our heart, while your away. Now you are back to us, and will never live us. You will always be here behind our back... to watch us and guide us. We cannot embrace you and hold you...we won't be able to hear your voice, your laughters and cries.. but we know, once we close our eyes we will see you and then feel you.
Shawn is my nephew - i miss him more than words can say - and even today i wait - to see him again - to laugh and play and talk with him - hoping he might still come home - knowing i will see him on the other side - proud of him - loving him
