Words from an angel. My life started off as a person, and ended as an angel. I became an angel on June 12th of this year. This day turned my life around.-- I was happy as a person, I was satisfied with my life. I had no problems with being a person, but for some reason GOD decided I was better off as an angel.--I am happy as an angel, I am satisifed with the view. I knew Bobby when I was on active duty. We both worked in a small lab at NAS Dallas. Even though we lost touch after I left the Navy in 95, my heart breaks as if we had seen each other yesterday - sometimes the passing of time has no limits to the friendships we develop in life.Bobby was one of those few people you meet in life that you automatically like and the world is that much less of a place without him.
You were brave and true and I will forever remember you. With so much love inside of you, I will forever remember you. You created laughter you shared here and there, I will never forget to share.
How we spend our dash....I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend, he referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning to the end. He noted first came the date of his birth and spoke the following date with tears,but he said what mattered most was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time he spent alive on earth and now only those who loved him know how much that little line is worth. For it matters not how much we own...the cars...the house...the cash...what matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard, are there things you'd like to change ? For we never know how much time is left that can still be arranged. If we just slow down enough to consider what is true and real, and understand the way other people feel. Be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love people in our lives like we never have before. If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile, remembering this special dash may only last awhile. So when your eulogy is being read with your life's actions rehashed, would you be proud of the things they say and how you soent your dash ?--Thank You Mr. Aragon for your ultimate sacrifice not for yourself but for your country and all the people who love freedom all over the world.
