I think of you each day. I love you. It is so wrong that we have to loose our loved ones this way. It is so wrong that we know we will loose more good people to this war. Without you, there is a great void and Life will never be the same.
Ray, your were like my little brother. My heart is broken since you past away. I love you Ray with everything that I have in me. Ray may you be with GOD now and look down on all who care you and bless them time to time with your presnts. Ray I love you and will always miss you brother.
I knew Alex. He was one of my husbands best friends. Words can not express what this man meant to so many people. He was the kindest, sweetest person you would ever meet. Shana.. It is my pleasure to remember Kevin as an outstanding young man - mature beyond his years. His firm, awesome handshake will never be forgotten. I have been honored by having the opportunity to speak about Kevin these past few days. Your big heart and desire are qualities that we all need to live by. You and your family are in my prayers. Keep leading and guiding us from above!!! (Hastings, NE)
You know its been a while since we last spoke, but you were always one of those that you couldn't forget. The day befor you I heard you were gone I was looking throgh a few old pictures. I came across one of you. I thought " man, I kinda miss those days". You know at a time like this it's alwys kinda hard to know weather or not you can hear what im saying. I like to believe that you can. Your funeral was Monday. It was beautiful. You would have abslutely love it. The Patrioic Guard Riders were there in honor of you. They lined the street all the way tothe dor of the colleseum, (it had to be there because there were over 1500 people there.) I was amazed. You were loved by so many people. And Brooke, oh Ray, you woul be so proud of her. She' s been holding real strong. Shes being a soldier fo you. She misses you bad though. As do I. I wish there were a time that we were all givin to go back and change things and let every one know eactly how much we really do care about them and tell them how poud of them we are. Well I know you can hear me, so Im going to take this opportunity to tell you that you are wonderful. I want to tell you that I am so proud of you. And also Im glad I had the chance to get to know you, And most of all, THANK YOU FOR BEIN A TRUE AMERICAN HERO. Rest in peace my friend.
I would cook you dinner in Germany. You loved to get out of the barracks and have a home cooked meal. You were a good friend. I am hurting that your gone. It isnt fair.
Ken was a wonderful young man. He had changed a lot since high school. I am very proud to say he is from my home town. I am thinking of you Ken SR. Carmon and Kristie!
Cpl. Ray M. Bevel: I will visit your grave to thank you personally, that is my priority. This is how i first got to learn about you.On the morning of 27 April,07 my family and i drove through your beautiful hometown enroute to Ft Worth, Tx. Seemed like all of your fellow citizens were lined up along 176 with old glory all over. We were the first to be pulled over at the 176/ Midland airport intersection, and soon the police escort was in sight, followed by alot of motorcycles then, sadly, the hearses. Our hearts were torn! All the rest of the weekend we wanted to find out who this hero is. and upon returning to our little town of Alamogordo, NM last night, I started to find out who you are. I pray for your family and friends, be strong, be proud, I need to find out more about you. For now I sincerely Thank You.L. Acosta Jr. retired USAF.
Hey Marlon What can i say you told us and still we dont believe this. I miss laughing at you all. It seem like i knew you forever, but only for a short period. I never thought the day would come it is so unreal.
I wish the family all my sympathy through these times.
Danny,There are so many people who are praying and thinking about you and your family. You are a hero and will never be forgotten. You make an impact on more lives than you know. You made the ultimate sacrifice and we are so thankful for all you have done. May your family take comfort in knowing you lived a life of no regrets. I know you are watching over all of us. Rest in Peace Danny Boy.
Hoss, losing you is like losing one of my own. I will miss your Mother's Day calls, the calls when you misplaced John's numbers and the occasional drop-in visit. Your hugs and laughter always brought joy to my heart and I will hold them there. Love, Momma Alice
I love you and miss you soooo much my brave warrior, my brave caretaker of your marine brothers, my beautiful son. Life without you is forever sad and heartbreaking till we are reunited again with our Lord. Hugs, kisses, and love always, MaMa
I knew Brice and his brother Jeremy. I did not get the pleasure of meeting the rest of his family, but I want them to know they are all in my heart and prayers. Brice gave his life for this country and he has made everyone proud.
Gaspers Family,Our love, thoughts, and prayers to all of you. We also want to thank Kevin and all of his family for helping keep us safe in our country. He has given his life for all of us and we shall always be grateful and ever thankful. We have two little boys ourselves and I can't imagine the pain you are feeling. Just know that someone down in Texas is thinking of all of you and will not forget what Kevin did for us and the rest of his country. We love him and the many that have died, as well as the ones still fighting. Thank you for sharing your special son with us and his country. I pray that the Lord will bless you all in many ways. (Plano, Texas)

Cpl Jacob H. Neal touched the lives of many during his short life. He was a beloved son, brother, fiancee and friend; a proud Texas Longhorn & above all else, he was a United States Marine. Jacob loved his country & was proud to be an American. He gave the ultimate sacrifice fighting for a depressed nation so that they might know & enjoy the freedoms we take for granted. He embodied all the Marine Corps stands for: Honor, Courage, & Commitment. Jacob will be missed & never forgotten.
RandyI still cant believe that you are gone. There isnt a better soldier or person out there. I will always remember the fun times just sitting around talking waiting to get off work. It was a pleasure to have known you and you will be missed!
We noticed the flags on your street and the neighbors told us why. Our hearts sunk heavy when the neighbors told us why. Daniel is gone, called up by the Good Shepherd too early for family and friends. How this must hurt to the depths, we as Americans are grateful to him for his service in trying to make this world a better place. But the ultimate sacrifice is so hard to bear. We hug his Mom & Dad & relatives & friends. Our son is in the service too, which makes it close to home, but we cannot imagine the suffering of those left behind. May the Good Lord hold him close to Him and take the pain of his loss from you.
You will truly be missed and I continue to pray for your family, friends and all the Soldiers that must face this enemy every day. Your death was not in vain because only God has the key to the reason why he took you home now. God bless your soul and may he keep your family strong in his eternal arms.
To the best brother anyone could ask for. I love you Steven......you will forever be my hero.....I m so proud of you !Love and peace,Kendra your sister

SGT Van Aalten was in my husbands platoon in Iraq, I knew his wife and him. I want to say to Shana and his family that I am so sorry for your loss. I also want to say I am sorry for the for my husband and the guys still over there because they lost a good friend and a good soldier. God Bless Alex.
My sincerest condolences to the family of James Coon. Coon and my brother, Spc James Arnold, were friends in Fort Hood and also deployed to Iraq together. I never got to meet him, but my brother always talked about Coon. It was only weeks after losing my brother that I heard about James and I can only pray that God will bring peace to your hearts and comfort in knowing that James is a true hero in my eyes and the eyes of many. May you rest in peace, Coon, and thank you for protecting us all.
